MY DOG’S DAY CAMP SCHEDULE

My dog, Mickey, has attended day camp at Petsmart Petshotel since I adopted him 5 years ago. Thanks to the really wonderful people at Petsmart, Mickey always has a really great time. Of course he does. Check out his schedule.

7-8:00am: Dogs arrive and are greeted with happy hugs and much fanfare by the staff.

9:00-11:00am: Playtime. There?s lots of getting acquainted with old and new friends. Big dogs play with big dogs and little dogs with little dogs. Mickey?s a big black lab mix, so he plays with the big dogs. I?ve seen as many as 11 black labs in one day camp together. I think this must be dog day camp nirvana.

11:00am: Snack time. All of the dogs break for great snacks. By the way there?s a guest phone in the hotel. If you want to call and chat with your dog, they?ll put him on the line for you.

11:30am -1:00pm: Nap time. Here?s a chance to rejuvenate from the busy, busy morning of playing and snacking.

1:30-4:30pm: Three more hours of uninterrupted play, interspersed with endless free-flying toys and balls, dishes of doggy ice cream and fun loving Petsmart staff blowing bubbles for added entertainment.

4:30: Campers return to their private suites, where dinner awaits.

5:00-9:00p.m: Best friends pick up their best friends.

On his way out to you, your dog is spritzed with cologne, to freshen him up. And you both receive hugs and a Pawgress Report as you head home after a fun day at camp.
